The third annual AMPRA golf outing was held on Thursday, August 25th at the Fairview Golf Course.

The 8:00am shotgun start began under threatening skies. Periodic showers and the rumble of thunder and lightening didn’t stop 63 golfers from giving it a go. By the 9th hole the skies brightened and everyone completed their round of golf.

At the end of the day the team of E. Gelata,  M. O’keefe, D. Wrenfield, and S. Gelata emerged the victors with a net score of eleven under par.

Ed Poltanavage’s team – S. Poltanavage and F. Nesmith finished second.
Terry Carl’s team – P. Carl, T. Adams, and W. Artz finished third.
Denny Brenneman’s team – P. Miller, P. Grove, and D. Ringley finished fourth.
Dan Casey’s team finished fifth.

After golf everyone enjoyed a nice luncheon  provided by the Quentin Tavern’s catering team; and reminisced about the “good old days” at AMP over a few beers.
